Pillars of Islam


Pillars of Islam are the five basic acts of Islam on which every Muslim have strong believe. Our Holly Prophet told us about these pillars in different. In this article we are going to discuss about these pillars. Continue reading to know about them


1: The Shahadah

                Shahadah is also the name of second Kalema of Islam. It means
“I bear witness that there is no worthy of worship except Allah Almighty; he is alone; without any partner. And I bear witness that Mohammad is his last messenger”.
If anyone want to became Muslim; then he/she have to read this Kalema in Arabic language; and make his/her faith according to this.

2: Salah

                Salah means prayer that Muslims do five times in every day. Males gathered in mosque and females perform prayer at home. Prayer play a role of bridge between Allah and the person.

3: Zakat

                Zakat means giving money to the poor or needy people. The pillar is for rich people and if our society follow this then there will not any poor left.

4: Fasting in Ramadan

                In the holy month of Ramadan; Muslims perform fast. They do not eat any thing from Fajar prayer to Maghreb prayer. Even they also can not do any bad dead during the fast.

5: Hajj

                Millions of Muslims go to Saudi Arabia to perform hajj at the Islamic month of Zul-hajj. Every rich person should perform hajj at least once in his life. If you don’t have enough money to perform this then don’t worry about it; but when you have money then you should person hajj.
